It was a clowdy and rainy day today, so the JK's had a lot of indoor recess time. We also ended the day with a Track & Field Awards Ceremony, congratulations to all the winners!!!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-Ms. Anne read the students a read a loud titled Ted's Shed, the students had to listen and identify other words in the story that also ended with the "ed" sound. We collaborated as a class and shared our observations and wrote them on the board.
Language/UOI-The JK's were engaged with a search and find game using reptile word and picture cards. We first discussed the many attributes that classify animals as reptiles and each student had the opportunity to find the cards around the class room and then spell the word.
Reminders:
-P.D. Day on May 19th and Victoria Day on May 22nd, the school is CLOSED.
-Casual Day is on May 31st.
