Hello JK parents!

Happy International Day at St. Jude's Academy!  The students enjoyed learning about the Philippines today, they were very inquisitive about the different kids of food and clothing that I showed them.  They were very interested in the video that I introduced to them, about children from the Philippines and how they dress and play.  The Jk's were surprised to hear that people from the Philippines have never seen snow there because they do not experience four seasons like we do!  We were all also excited to learn more about the other countries that the other classrooms presented on in the auditorium.
The JK's had fun pretending to be "bigger kids" when I gave them a "writing test" today, all the students were focused and were so quiet writing their upper/lower case letters.

Reminders:
-School Bake Sale is on January 24th and 25th, it is our turn to bring in yummy nut free treats for the school.  The money that is raised will be for purchasing more technology for the school.
