We started the day off with another fun Spring Fundraiser event, Pancake Day! It is still not too late to bring in pledge forms, students who pledge $35 and more will go on a special trip to an indoor playground in May!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-The JK's explored Literacy Centers today, using puzzles, picture cards and letter blocks to practice their name and sound recognition skills.
Language/UOI-We learned more about animals today, what is a predator and what is a prey. We discussed their characteristics and why bigger animals hunt and eat smaller animals.
Math-The JK's were engaged with a measuring activity using snap cubes and picture cards. Each card had a picture of various animals in different sizes, each student had to determine how many snap cubes long each one was.
