Its another cold and rainy day, but we kept warm and busy!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5: The Jk's listened to a read a loud titled If You Give a Moose a Muffin, the students enjoyed practicing their order of sequence skills with the story.
Language-It was the JK's turn to hide letter t picture and word cards around the classroom and took turns looking for them, once they were found they had to spell the word. The students also practiced their letter recognition skills using Bingo daubers or crayons.
Unit of Inquiry: The Jk's were engaged with a picture and word matching game, focusing on different modes of transportation.
Reminders:
-Reading Graphs will go home in Take Home Bags tomorrow.
-2D Shape presentation/Show & Tell will take place February 10th, each student is to bring in an item that looks like a 2D shape and present to the class.
-SJA Parent Guild Movie Night is on February 24th, please bring in form and $10 by February 16th.
