It was a cold day outside during recess today, but we kept warm with lots of activities and learning!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-The JK's explored in literacy centers, using alphabet letters, books, puzzles and letter blocks.
Language-The students continued to learn more short words that began with the letter w.
Math-We had a lot of fun exploring 3D shapes manipulatives and classifying them by colour.
Reminders:
-Reading Assessments will be sent home February 9th.
-March Break Camp is available for March 13th to 17th and 20th to 24th, there are forms sent home in each child's Take Home Bag.
-2D shape presentations is on February 10th, each child will have the opportunity to present a 2D shape item from home.
-Parent and Teacher phone call or email request is due tomorrow, if I do not hear from you I will be sending a short email review of your child's progress next week.
