Hello JK parents!

Happy Monday! We have a very busy, but short week a head of us.  The JK's enjoyed exploring in the snow during recess time today!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-The students wanted to read quietly in the Book Area with a friend or individually.
Language-The JK's practiced their printing, letter recognition and sound skills with lower case a and HWT booklets.
Valentine's Day Activity-To get ready for Valentines Day, we used tissue paper, glue and crayons to decorate hearts.

Reminders:
-Scholastic book orders are due February 24th.
-Tomorrow is Valentine's Day Spirit Day, students are to dress in Valentine's Day colours or hearts.  Students may bring in cards and non food treats for their peers.

-3D Shape Presentations/Show & Tell is on February 15th, each student is to bring in an item that is a 3D shape and present to the class.
-100th Day of School is on February 16th, students can dress up like they are 100 years old!  Be creative!
-February 17th and 20th the school is CLOSED.
