Happy Friday! Thank you to all the parents that brought in pictures for our Transportation unit, if you still haven't brought in a picture you may still email them to me by Monday.
Daily 5-The students listened to a book that taught them more about a type of transportation that sends them into space, titled Roaring Rockets!
Language-The JK's named short words that began with the letter C, practiced their lower case c printing and used Bingo daubers to create the letter c.
Math- We learned more about 2D shapes with an engaging matching activity using shape blocks.
Reminders:
-International Day is on January 20th, parents and caregivers are welcome to visit and take part in the afternoon.
-Candy Sale will take part next week to help raise money for Sick Kids Foundation, if your child would like to participate please bring in money in a labelled zip lock bag.
-Bake Sale will take place January 24th and 25th, it is our turn to participate by bringing in yummy treats! Please make sure that treats are peanut free.
-I have place a larger box labelled JK Lost and Found in front of our classroom, feel free to go through articles of clothing. A reminders please label your child's clothing to prevent lost items.
