We had a great day today and had extra time outside to enjoy the weather!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-We listened to Five Little Pumpkins book that Bryana brought in to share with the class.
Language-The students continued to practice their letter recognition, phonetic and printing skills with the letter R activity today. A few students volunteered to be "teachers" for the class to show the students how to print the letter R. The JK's also worked on their HWT booklets.
Math-We had fun outside today, gathering things that we found outside that remind us of fall for our graph. talked about gathering data and reading the results of our findings.
Science-The JK's had the opportunity to see what was inside our class pumpkin! We continued our Pumpkin Investigation by making a hypothesis of what we thought was inside the pumpkin and checked the results by carving it open.
