We all enjoyed the beautiful fall weather outside at recess!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-The students listened to a Halloween counting book titled Two Witches, which got the children excited for Halloween!
French- Ms. Hou continued teaching the JK's more about colours in french with a fun art inspired activity, using construction paper and glue.
Language-We worked on our letter recognition and printing skills in our HWT booklets and focused on the upper case letter P.
Math-The students joined each other on the carpet and participated on a number recognition and dice rolling game.
Science- The JK's learned more about the life cycle of a pumpkin with a sequencing activity.
Reminders:
-The grade 3 students are donating gently used toys to sell and raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation, if your child would like to participate please send money ($1-$3) in a labelled zip lock bag. The fundraiser will continue until the end of this week.
