Hello JK parents!

The students were busy and had a lot of fun learning today!

Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-Students had an opportunity to read/look at books quietly in the Book area, they shared books together or independently.
Language- The JK's learned about the letter B today, they practiced their phonetic, letter recognition and printing skills.
Math- My little inquirers have been asking more questions about pumpkins! Each students worked on their own Pumpkin Booklet that also encouraged them to count.
Science-To get the students ready and excited about the class pumpkin carving day! Each student had the opportunity to create their own pumpkin/ Jack o Lantern creation.

Reminders:
-Friday, October 7th, the school will be CLOSED for a PD day and Monday, October 10th, for Thanksgiving and will reopen on Tuesday, October 11th.
-Show and Tell will begin tomorrow and the first four students are: Giovanni, Zane, Veda and Eric.
