We are halfway there and tomorrow is the big day! The students are all very excited and looking forward for the trip tomorrow!
Here are a few things we did today:
French-The students practiced counting from 1 to 10 in french today with Ms. Hou.
Daily 5- I read a story titled From the Apply Trees to Cider Please by Felicia Chernesky, it was a great introduction for the students to get them ready for tomorrows trip. My little inquirers had lots of questions about the book and trip: "What is cider?", "will we eat apples tomorrow?", "Are we going to climb trees?"
Language- We continued learning more about the letter F and practiced our printing skills with our Journal Booklets. The students worked on printing upper case and lower case letter F.
Math- The JK's demonstrated their number recognition and numeracy skills with an interactive apply and number mat activity.
