It was another productive day!
Here are a few of the things we did today:
Art class- Ms. Kerr introduced how to draw self portraits to the class.
Daily 5-The students worked on their letter and name recognition skills by using play dough to write their names.
Math-We explored our number recognition and one to one correspondence skills using number cards and clothes pegs.
A few REMINDERS:
-I have placed a Welcome BBQ food order from in each of your child's Take Home bag. The Welcome BBQ will take place on Thursday, September 15th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The due date to return the food order form will be Wednesday, September 14th.
-All Kindergarten classes will be going on a field trip to Chudleigh's Farm on Thursday, September 22nd. We are looking for 5 parents volunteers, if anyone is interested please email me!
-I have also sent home a letter explaining to parents about our Math Makes Sense program with a few fun activities that you can do at home to encourage more learning.
