Hello JK parents!

Another busy day today!

Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5- We listened to a great story titled I'm Like You, You're Like Me that celebrated inclusion.
Language- The students continued learning more about the letter E, they practiced their printing skills by working in their Journal booklets.  The JK's worked on printing upper and lower case letter E and drew a picture of something that began with the letter.
Math- The JK students demonstrated their number recognition skills with a number matching activity.
Science- We continued our Apple Experiment today, using our senses to explain what we have observed.  Yesterday we cut an apple in half, one half was left open in a zip lock bag and the other half was sealed closed.  The JK students each made a hypothesis about what would happen: "It will turn brown," "it will stay fresh."

Reminders:
-School Bake Sale continues tomorrow, if you would like your child to purchase some treats please have them bring in some money in a labelled zip lock bag.
-Tomorrow is Casual Day, for those who have paid for the fee your may come to school in their everyday attire and not in uniform.
Happy Birthday Sianna!!!!
