Hello!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We are ready for another fun week of learning and exploring!

Here are a few things we did today:
-We sang O Canada with all the big kids today in the auditorium.
Daily 5- We practiced more of our letter and name recognition skills with a fun fine motor/ art activity.  The students had to place stickers on each letter of their names, on a name mat.
-Math- We started our Math assessment with a quick number printing "test" for the kids.  They did a great job sitting and focusing on their "test."
-We also watched a video and had a discussion about what makes a good friend.

Reminders:
-Welcome BBQ is on Thursday, September 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  Oder forms to purchase food is due on Wednesday, September 14th.
-Chudleigh's Apple Farm trip will take place on Thursday, September 22nd.  The form with trip money will be due on Thursday, September 15th.
-Morning drop off will be at the Gym, no longer in the JK class.
