Hello JK parents!
I hope that everyone has a great weekend!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5- The students listened to a read a loud Franklin's Bad Day and the students shared what strategies we could use to deal with our mad or sad feelings.
Language-The students worked on printing the letter Z in their HWT booklets.
Math-We had a lot of fun creating our own patterns on the carpet using snap cubes.
Reminders:
-December Hot Lunch forms and money are due November 25th.
-Scholastic book orders are due November 25th.

Hello JK parents!
I hope that you had some time to enjoy the beautiful weather outside, our JK students sure did!
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-The students had some quiet time today, looking at books in the Book Area.
Language-We learned about the sound and printing formation of the letter Z today! A few students were great role models for the other students, showing them how to print the letter Z.
Math-The students were challenged today with a growing patterns activity.
French-Ms. Hou is teaching the students how to say simple shapes in French.
Reminders:
-December Hot Lunch forms and money are due November 25th.
-Scholastic orders due November 25th.
-Last for Holiday Fundraiser is tomorrow, all orders will be due.\

Hello JK parents!
What a busy day! Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-The students practiced their letter recognition skills, matching letters with the short word puzzles.
Language-The JK's practiced their printing skills, printing the letter Y in their HWT booklets.
Math- We had a lot of fun creating repeating patterns with the first letter of our names, using square shapes and glue.
Reminders:
-Scholastic book orders are due November 25th.
-December Hot Lunch forms and money are due November 25th. There are also new healthier options available (e.g. veggie sticks, etc).

Hello JK parents!
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Thank you to all the parents who provided donations for the class basket.
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5- The students wanted to practice their printing skills by using the white erase boards and markers.
Language-The JK's were engaged with a fun memory game, using picture and words cards that focused on the letter Y. They also worked on a search and find activity sheet.
Math-We collaborated as a class and completed a What's Missing? pattern activity.
Gym-Mr. H worked on balancing with the students and had them take part in a variety of balancing activities.
Reminders:
-December Hot Lunch forms and money are due November 25th.
-School pictures if you would like to purchase are due November 17th.
-Holiday Fundraiser is still taking place from November 4th to 18th, the school will match the money raised to purchase technology for the school.
