It was another cold and snowy day today and the JK's were all bundled up to explore the outdoors.
Here are a few things we did today:
Daily 5-The students practiced their letter recognition skills using magnetic letters, they also tried spelling their names and short words.
French-Ms. Hou had the students match Christmas french words.
Language-The JK's were engaged with an I Spy game, looking for the letter I in the classroom. They also practiced their letter I printing skills in their HWT booklets.
Math-We reviewed our sequencing skills with a fun Christmas tree activity, the students had to determine which was first, next and last.
Reminders:
-January Hot Lunch forms and money are due December 16th.
-JK Patterns Day is on December 16th.
-Last day of school before Christmas holidays is December 22nd. The first day of school back will be January 11th, 2017.
-School Christmas Concert is on December 21st. Please donate a non persihable food item as you "ticket" to the concert.
